  Nurses are rude and condescending, not helpful at all. Average response time for needing a nurse when you use the button on the bed is between 15 minutes and an hour and a half I had to wait early in the morning for almost two hours to have my IV changed. Had to listen to the damn thing beep all morning unable to move or sleep because of the noise. Several calls to the nurses with no results The only good experience I got out of the hospital and the only reason I gave it 2 stars in because of the doctors and surgeons I met with who did an excellent job and have an excellent attitude. These nurse need some training in manners though

  I am incredibly displeased at the service here. There are some good employees which give it an extra star but overall this place is awful. My baby had a surgery and 2 days later the incision popped open and so they took him back to the OR and sewed him up, within 48 hours (the morning we were suppose to be discharged) it popped back open and so they took him back a 3rd time and opened the incision and found a deep infection and cut dead tissue out and put a tube in his butt to drain pus out and sewed him back up again. At 6 months old within a week he had been operated on 3 times and put on 3 different strong antibiotics! SICK!! They force decisions on you about your children and do not include you in decisions made for your child's care, you have to find out after things have been done. They harass you if you don't agree with what they want to do and when you question things they bring in social workers. I fear for the upcoming pediatric patients with the new ward being built. Definitely not a place for natural minded parents who desire to know what is going into their child's body. They say they are a tobacco free facility yet none of their numerous security guards enforce it. There are always people smoking right in front of the main entrance and the maternal area. I took my baby on a walk who is in the pediatric ICU and we were greeted by lots of cigarette smoke on our way out and in the building. The room service food for inpatient is almost always wrong, they could at least send the food out fully cooked and not bleeding. Needless to say I am displeased!!!
